Question:
Why don’t I just get a tutor during the tough subjects or periods?
Answer:
We will recommend local tutors if more focus is needed; our mission is to provide assistance recognizing these areas (though we can do most tutoring), but don’t intend to replace private tutors.
Question:
Why not a “homework helper”? (high school or college student who can help the kids with homework).
Answer:
We provide continuity in their routine. We will work with babysitters or homework helpers to guide them if needed. We acknowledge their special relationships with the family and do not want to disrupt that – it can be helpful. But we can add value to your child’s academic progress. I’ve worked with many nannies over the years.
Question:
What are your rates? Are they competitive?
Answer:
Rates are competitive and are pro-rated for families with multiple students - Coach can work with students of different ages. Our goal is to help the whole family at homework time. They are reasonable and depend on session frequency (more visits: lower pricing). First session is free.
